Section : General powers of the Gram Panchayat.

37. General powers of the Gram Panchayat.- A Gram Panchayat shall have powers to do all acts necessary for or incidental to the carrying out the functions entrusted, assigned or delegated to it and, in particular, anti without prejudice to the foregoing powers, to exercise all powers specified under this Act.
