Indian Christians to be made to understand declarations.
58.Indian Christians to be made to understand declarations.-Whenany 1*[Indian] Christian is married under the provisions of this Part,the person solemnizing the marriage shall ascertain whether such1*[Indian] Christian understands the English language, and, if he doesnot, the person solemnizing the marriage shall, at the time of thesolemnization, translate, or cause to be translated, to such1*[Indian] Christian, into a language which he understands, thedeclarations made at such marriage in accordance with the provisionsof this Act.
