Section : No person to act as agent in revenue-offices unless qualified.

20. No person to act as agent in revenue-offices unlessqualified. Except as provided by this Act or any other enactment forthe time being in force, no person, other than a pleader dulyqualified under the provisions hereinbefore contained, shall practiseas a revenue-agent in any revenue-office, unless he holds acertificate issued under section 18 and has been enrolled in suchoffice or some other office to which it is subordinate: Provided that any person duly authorized in this behalf may, withthe sanction of the Chief Controlling Revenue-authority 2*, or of anofficer empowered by the State Government in this behalf, transact allor any business in which his principal may be concerned in anyrevenue-office. The sanction mentioned in this section may be general or special,and may at any time be revoked or suspended by the authority orofficer granting the same.
