Section : Offences under the Act compoundable.

194. Offences under the Act compoundable.- (1) The offences under this Act shall be compoundable: Provided that no offence, arising from the failure to comply with a written notice given by or on behalf of, the Nagar Panchayat or the Council, as the case may be, shall be compoundable unless the notice has been consolied with. 62 (2) Sums paid by way of composition under this section shall be credited to the Municipal Fund.
