Section : On appointment of committee, Board and local agents to transferproperty.Termination of powers and responsibilities of Board and agents.Commencement of powers of committee.

12. On appointment of committee, Board and local agents totransfer property.-Immediately on the appointment of a committee asabove provided for the superintendence of any such mosque, temple orreligious establishment, and for the management of its affairs, theBoard of Revenue, or the local agents acting under the authority ofthe said Board, shall transfer to such committee all landed or otherproperty which at the time of appointment shall be under thesuperintendence, or in the possession of the said Board or localagents, and belonging to the said religious establishment, except asis hereinafter provided for,---------------------------------------------------------------------1 Added by Act 21 of 1925, s. 3. Termination of powers and responsibilities of Board and agents.--and thereupon the powers and responsibilities of the Board and thelocal agents in respect to such mosque, temple or religiousestablishment, and to all land and other property so transferredexcept as above, and except as regards acts done and liabilitiesincurred by the said Board or agents previous to such transfer, shallcease and determine. Commencement of powers of committee.--All the powers which mightbe exercised by any Board or local agent for the recovery of the rentof land or other property transferred under this section may from thedate of such transfer be exercised by such committee to whom suchtransfer is made.
