Section : Penalties.

30. Penalties.(1) If any person refuses or without lawful excuse (the burden of proving which shall lie upon such person) neglects to comply fully with the requirements of sub-section (1) of section 11 or of any order made under sub-section (2) of that section or with the requirements of section 14, he shall be punishable with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees. (2) If any person wilfully fails to comply with any notice issued under section 13 or section 16, he shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or with both.
