Section : Penalty for illicit cultivation.

39. Penalty for illicit cultivation. Whoever knowingly plants tea or causes tea to be planted on any land in contravention of section 12 shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees for the first offence, and with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees for any subsequent offence. 149
