Section : Power of entry for purpose of preventing spread of disease.

176.Power of entry for purpose of preventing spread of disease.- The Nagar Panchayat or, as the case may be, the Council may authorise any officer to enter, at any time between sunrise and sunset, after three hours notice into any building or premises in which any infectious or contagious disease is reported or suspected to exist, for the purposes of inspecting such building or premises on the basis of the report of the officer. The Nagar Panchayat or the Council will have the power to declare that a person is suffering from contagious disease and that house is infectious. 58
