Section : Power of the State Government to make rules.

37. Power of the State Government to make rules. (1) The State Government may, after consultation with the Board and subject to the condition of previous publication, by notification in the Official Gazette, make rules for the purpose of giving effect to the provisions of this Act and not inconsistent with the rules, if any, made by the Central Government. (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for-- (a) the authority to which, the manner in which, and the fee on payment of which, an appeal may be filed under section 15 and the procedure to be followed by the appellate authority in disposing of the appeal; (b) the delegation of any of the powers and functions conferred by this Act on the State Government to any officer or authority specified by that Government.
