Section : Power to make rules.

22. Power to make rules.- (1) The Central Government may by notification make rules to carry into effect the provisions of this Act. (2) Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power such rules may prescribe-- (a) the principles to be followed in ascertaining the total wages bill of an employer, including provision for the exclusion therefrom of certain categories of wages or of certain elements included in the definition of wages; ; (b) the form of the policies of insurance referred to in sub-section (2) of section 8 ; (c) the period referred to in clause (g) of sub-section (5) of section 8 ; (d) the date and the period referred to in sub-section (1) of section 9 ; (e) the form of and the manner of preparing and publishing the account referred to in sub-section (5) of section 13 ; (f) the periods referred to in sub-section (3) of section 15; (g) any other matter which has to be or may be prescribed.
