Section : Power to refuse letters of administration.

298. Power to refuse letters of administration.-Notwithstandinganything hereinbefore contained, it shall, where the deceased was aMuhammadan, Buddhist or exempted person, or a Hindu, Sikh or Jaina towhom section 57 does not apply, be in the discretion of the Court tomake an order refusing, for reasons149to be recorded by it in writing, to grant any application for lettersof administration made under this Act.
