199. Report from Collector where estate includes revenue-payingland.-(1) Where the estate of the deceased person consists wholly orin part of land paying revenue to Government, in all matters regardingthe property of summoning the party in possession, of appointing acurator, or of nominating individuals to that appointment, theDistrict Judge shall demand a report from the Collector, and theCollector shall thereupon furnish the same: Provided that in cases of urgency the Judge may proceed, in thefirst instance, without such report. (2) The Judge shall not be obliged to act in conformity with anysuch report, but, in case of his acting otherwise than according tosuch report, he shall immediately forward a statement of his reasonsto the High Court, and the High Court, if it is dissatisfied with suchreasons, shall direct the Judge to proceed conformably to the reportof the Collector.124
