THE SIKKIM UNIVERSITY ACT, 2006NO. 10 OF 2007[10th January, 2007.]An Act to establish and incorporate a teaching and affiliating University in the State of Sikkim and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows:-1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Sikkim University Act, 2006.(2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
