THE DELIVERY OF BOOKS AND NEWSPAPERS (PUBLIC LIBRARIES) ACT, 1954 ACT NO. 27 OF 1954 1* [20th May, 1954.] An Act to provide for delivery of books 2*[and newspapers] to the National Library and other public libraries. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and extent. (1) This Act may be called the Delivery of Books 3*[and Newspapers] (Public Libraries) Act, 1954. (2) It extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
