Section : Surrender of revoked probate or letters of administration.

296. Surrender of revoked probate or letters of administration.-(1) When a grant of probate or letters of administration is revoked orannulled under this Act, the person to whom the grant was made shallforthwith deliver up the probate or letters to the Court which madethe grant. (2) If such person wilfully and without reasonable cause omits soto deliver up the probate or letters, he shall be punishable with finewhich may extend to one thousand rupees, or with imprisonment for aterm which may extend to three months, or with both.
