Section : Use of public road or place by vendors and other person and penaltythereof.

115. Use of public road or place by vendors and other person and penalty thereof.- (1) Subject to the provisions of this Act and the rules and bye-laws made thereunder, no itinerant vend or or any other person shall use or occupy any public road or place for the sale of articles or for the exercise of any calling, or for setting up any booth or stall without the permission of the Nagar Panchayat or of the Council. (2) Whoever violate the provision of sub-section (1) shall be punishable with fine which may extend to two thousand five hundred rupees and with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees for every Subsequent offence after the first conviction.
