SECTION 51A: ACCEPTANCE OF CERTIFIED COPY AS EVIDENCE
In any proceeding under this Act, a certified copy of a document registered under the Registration Act, 1908 (16 of 1908), including a copy given under section 57of that Act, may be accepted as evidence of the transaction recorded in such document.]

if witness admitted yes if not then too if it relates the factual matrix of the case but the leave of the court will be required and are under 74 76 of evidence act

certified copy of document can definitely be confronted to the witness during his cross-examination and can be got exhibited in civil as well as in criminal both types of cases.

a certified copy of a document can be confronted to a witness during cross examination and if admitted by him, the same may be marked as exhibit.
