Section : Agreements by way of wager void

30.Agreements by way of wager void.-Agreements by way of wagerare void ; and no suit shall be brought for recovering anythingalleged to be won on any wager, or entrusted to any person to abidethe result of any game or other uncertain event on which any wager ismade.--------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 The second clause of exception I to section 28 was rep. by Act1 of 1877.
