Section : Appointment or declaration of Collector in virtue of office

18. Appointment or declaration of Collector in virtue of office.-Where a Collector is appointed or declared by the Court in virtue ofhis office to be guardian of the person or property, or both, of aminor, the order appointing or declaring him shall be deemed toauthorize and require the person for the time being holding the officeto act as guardian of the minor with respect to his person orproperty, or both, as the case may be.
