Section : Exemptions

34. Exemptions. 3*[(1) The State Government may, by notificationin the Official Gazette, exempt from the operation of this Act,subject to such conditions and restrictions as it thinks fit, anyboilers or classes or types of boilers used exclusively for theheating of buildings or the supply of hot water.] 4*[3*[(2)] Power to suspend in case of emergency. Power tosuspend in case of emergency. In case of any emergency the StateGovernment may, by general or special order in writing, exempt anyboilers or steam-pipes or any class of boilers or steam-pipes or anyboiler or steam-pipe from the operation of all or any of theprovisions of this Act. (3) If the State Government is satisfied that, having regard tothe material, design or construction of boilers and to the need forthe----------------------------------------------------------------------1.
