Section : FIXATION OF WAGE-PERIODS

SECTION 04: FIXATION OF WAGE-PERIODS

(1) Every person responsible for the payment of wages under Section 3 shall fix periods (in this Act referred to as Wage-period) in respect of which such wages shall be payable.

(2) No wage-period shall exceed one month.

we used to calculate salary at 30.4 days for every month. but finally it is the MD's prerogative on how to calculate.

its definately 30 days, supreme court has decided in 2008's judgment, and clean 30 days, it means a day of serving of notice is also excluded.

I guess its 30
