Section : LIABILITY OF MEMBERS

SECTION 33: LIABILITY OF MEMBERS
Every member of a Board shall be liable for the loss, waste or misapplication of any money or other propertyb[belonging to, vested in, or entrusted to the management of, the Board] if such loss, waste or misapplication is a direct consequence of his neglect or misconduct while such member; and a suit for compensation for the same may be instituted against him either by the Board or by thea[Central Government].OBJECTS AND REASONS Act 15 of 1983. Clause 21.-The liability of the members of the Board as contained insection 33of the Act is being amplified so as to make it applicable also to any money or other property vested in, or entrusted to the management of, the Board.-Gaz, of Ind., 9-7- 1982, Pt.
