Section : Penalty for removal of ward from jurisdiction

44. Penalty for removal of ward from jurisdiction.-If, for thepurpose or with the effect of preventing the Court from exercising itsauthority with respect to a ward, a guardian appointed or declared bythe Court removes the ward from the limits of the jurisidiction of theCourt in contravention of the provisions of section 26, he shall beliable, by order of the Court, to fine not exceeding one thousandrupees, or to imprisonment in the civil jail for a term which mayextend to six months.
