Section : Provision for continuance of office of Treasurer in certain contingencies

11. Provision for continuance of office of Treasurer in certaincontingencies.-If the office held by an officer of the Government whohas been appointed to be a Treasurer of Charitable Endowments isabolished or its name is changed, the 3*[appropriate Government] mayappoint the same or another officer of the Government by the name ofhis office to be such Treasurer, and thereupon the holder of thelatter office shall be deemed for the purposes of this Act to be thesuccessor in office of the holder of the former office.
