SECTION 36: RETURNS AND REGISTERS

(1) Every recruiting agent shall maintain such registers and other records and shall submit to the prescribed authorities such periodical or other returns as may be prescribed.

(2) The Protector General of Emigrants, the registering authority, the competent authority or a Protector of Emigrants may, by order, call for any other return or an information from recruiting agent.

(3) The Protector General of Emigrants, the registering authority, the competent authority or a Protector of Emigrants or an officer in charge of an emigration checkpost may inspect any register or other record maintained by a recruiting agent under sub-section (1) and for the purpose of such inspection enter, at any reasonable time, the business premises of a recruiting agent
