An Act to establish and incorporate a teaching and affiliating University in the State of Mizoram and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto Be it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows :—

SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE AND COMMENCEMENT

(1)This Act may be called the Mizoram University Act, 2000.

(2) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
