The controversy began on July 21 when rumors surfaced that Tyson, who is transgender, had allegedly engaged in inappropriate online interactions with a 13-year-old fan when Tyson was 20 years old.
The now 20-year-old fan, known as LavaGS, has denied the allegations. However, further claims accusing Tyson of mistreating people have quickly emerged. In response, Tyson released a statement expressing regret for past actions and emphasizing that hurting people was never their intent.
Tyson also announced their departure from all MrBeast-related social media to focus on their family and mental health.MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has stated that he is “disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts” and has initiated an independent investigation into the matter.
