Like their is a case in which both parents made a custody agreement that in whose custody the child lives ,then as per law custody agreement is legal?

Sir like ,a husband and wife lives seprately due to some reasons and they mutually agreed to give custody of minor to wife . So in that case can they make child custody agreement and that agreement is legal and enforceable?
