Settlement deed

Dear sir

I will be much obliged if you could clarify my doubt regarding the above mentioned subjec.

My grandfather executed a settlement Deed of his self earned property to his ,(wife, to his daughter and last to his  2 of his grandchildren). As per legal heirs we are 5 children born to my mother.  Can the others claim the share in the property.

Thanks.    Gopalakrishnan

As your grandfather has having own property, he can do as he wishes and no one can ask him. So you cannot obtain a share in the property.

Your grandfather has full rights to dispose his properties in any manner and to whoever he may desire and decide.

Nobody can challenge this act of your grandfather because it is his self acquired property.

Advocate Bhartesh goyal (advocate)     09 April 2024

Since your grandmother' is absolute owner of property so he has every right to transfer his property to anyone and in any manner as per his wish no one can claim any share in property or challenge his act.
