Agreement before land registration

Hi,

I have a typical doubt the registration and value of the agreement prior to the registration. I sold a land property to my relative. He asked for seven months time for registration and arrange the cash. Now the given time is  already over and yet not registered as per the agreement which we signed together on a white paper with the court fee stamps. Can anyone tell as the dates is over , what is the validity of that agreement.

Regards,

D

If there is no specific time in Agreement to execute a sale deed, you may rescind the said Agreement by sending a Legal Notice and return the advanced money if you have received.

Hi Sir,

Nice to see your reply. We made the agreement for a specific time of 7 months which got over yesterday. Its a rubber tapping plot and we took advance of 10 lakhs. As per the agreement , we allowed them to tap these rubber for these months. As yet the agreement is not moved to deed registration , what am i supposed to do. Whether i am entitiled to get the compensation for tapping our rubber plants. At the same time , if he goes to court and move a petition mentiong as I am the defaulter by not given the property registered .  If possible please send me your no , which i can speak to you detaily. If possible.
