Apex Court's Verdict in Section 498-A

Recently the Hon'ble Apex Court has pleased to pass the milestone verdict in respect of abuse use of Section 498-A. The first key portion is given below :-

"All the State Governments to instruct its police officers not to automatically arrest when a case under Section 498-A of the IPC is registered but to satisfy themselves about the necessity for arrest under the parameters laid down above flowing from Section 41, Cr.PC"

The whole judgment is tagged as attachment. If any one is victimized by the random use of Section 498-A, he can go through the judgment and acts accordingly.
