Can granddaughter claim share on maternal property?

I am 35 year old married woman.  My  maternal grandmother (Nani) who is expired on 2011 had some land property in her name ,which my maternal  grandfather(Nana) bought on her name. My both maternal grandfather and maternal grandmother expired in year 2011 and 2013 intestate respectively. My maternal grandfather & mother has 5 living Sons and 2 deceased daughter.

I am daughter of my maternal grandmother (Nani) younger daughter , who is deceased on 12 May 2005.

My maternal uncles(Mama) are now selling ancestral property which were in the name of my maternal grandmother (Nani).  Can I claim my share in the said property as per Hindu Succession act amendment in Sept 2005 and Hindu Success Act 1956?

You can claim the share of your deceased mother from your deceased grand mother property which would be equal to 1/7 share

But what if my mother expired before 9 Sept 2005(though her mother was alive that time) as mentioned, when amendment in Hindu succession act happened? Can still I have right to claim?
