yES! UNDER sECTION 148 A Cr.P..C.Once it is lodged it will remain in force upto   3months. After that fresh Caveat will ahve to be filed by the caveator.If you PPRECIATE THIS REPLY PLEASE CLICK LIKE BUTTON.

His Query is for CrPC , NOT for CPC.... :-)

Sec 148A is governing CPC for Civil Cases, 

For CrpC you can refer Cavet filed in Salman Khan case filed in Supreme Court as SLP(Special Leave Petition).

In othe court it can be used as Art.226 read with HC Rules in respctive states.
