I have purchased a house on my wife's name a month ago. since, my wife's name was used in sales deed was of before marriage. now, we want to change her name with my surname on it. I need to change in sales deed with her new name.( After changes in Aadhar and PAN). the deed is mortgaged by bank now. What is the procedure to change name in sales deed? P.S. that there is no mistake in original sales deed but just her after marriage name will be different than that in sales deed.

Dear sir,
First you need to change the name in the original documents and you can than file an affidavit along with an application for name change in the sales deed.
procedure for name change in documents requires an advertisment in the local newspaper .
