Hello,
I have got demand message in Incometaxefiling website for 28000/- for the assessment year 2011-12. I have also received notice from income tax department that I need to pay demand for 28000/- for the assessment year 2011-12.
I am the employ of BSNL. My tax was deducted from source it self.
Here I need to mention that I have submitted return online by mentioning wrong assessment year 2011-12. I had to mention assessment year as 2012-13 instead 2011-12.
I had submitted return for the assessment year 2011-12 manually at that time. That means I had submitted two returns for same assessment year 2011-12. One is manual and another is online.
There is no return for 2012-13.
Please any one tell me the solution for my problem. Should I file revised return or original return for the assessment year 2011-12 online. Will it solve my demand notice problem.
I am confused please help me.
