I will do my best to explain myself with no riddles. Are there any guidelines or case law for costs awarded for a wrongful caveat? Meaning a caveat is placed on a property unlawfully, and would like to claim the following:
1) Loss on sale (evidence of clients who offer to purchase the property but cannot sell due to caveat
2) Effect on a business as the property was already caveated with a bank for funding for use in a business hence the placing of the caveat affecting the operations of the business, as the sale of the property would be used as capital for the business.
