I recently liked to purchase a flat in the apartment of which construction is just started. All the documents seemed to be ok. The site falls in a private layout and is DC converted and is very much in developed locality ( around 5 acres ). Then I got to know that the complete 5 acres is BDA notified. The builder said that its impossible since the layout is dc converted. As per the documents, the conversion happened in the year 1982. The BDA final notification seems to be happened in the year 1999. The area now falls under and has bbmp khata. Pls advice as to
1. whether BDA can notify a converted land
2. since that area is well developed and many people are living there for almsot 10 years claim that they never heard anything BDA, is it adviseable to go for this flat..
Appreciate any suggestions...
