Divorce can be sought on ground of cruelty which cud be mental or physical. I want to know whether it is prequisit requirement to first approach the CAW Cell before filing petition for divorce.

CWA or Mahila kendra is another name of Gauntanamo bay of US torture Cell for Indian husband and I would not encourage you to go to that torturing and humilating Cell. Cruelty can be mental of physical according to your test and standard of living. If you can not tolerate the cruelty of your wife simply ask for divorce without CWA.
