Dear experts,
Pls. advise me in the following matter.
Our is a construction co. in maharashtra state. One person booked the flat & execute the regd. ATS in respect of the said flat by paying proper stamp duty. Now, the client want to exchange the flat against bungalow in the same project, total consideration being the same.
Is it possible to treat this transaction as an exchange deed?
Is the client is exempted to pay stamp duty for bungalow, as he is already paid the stamp duty for the flat?
OR
the claint is liable to pay only the diffenecial amt. as stamp duty as the area is changed?
Pls. advise with section or provision in stamp duty for the same, as I have not found it.
