Hi i am alagar, We are hindu family, my mother given her property to me as a gifted deed when she was alive. Now she passed away. My father also passes away before 10 years. That property was given as gifted deed to my mother by her brother/Father in 1965. Now my sister is asking share in that property, she told that she will file case against me. Does she has rights to get the share?

Hope it was self acquired property of father/brother or their share from ancestral property.

The property after gift might have attained the status of absoloute/self acquired proeprty in the hands of your mother and in such case your sister may not succeed.

However you may obtain the complete chain/title of the proeprty from revenue office/patwari and show all dcos on record to an able counsel specializing in property/family/revenue/civil matters and well versed with local laws, for a considered opinion.
