Guidance required

One my relatives was beaten by neighbour and cross cases were filed. The neighbour filed a complaint(IPC 447,323,324,504,506(2),114) that they were hit by iron rod and wooden stick. At police station, police asked to provide iron rods and wooden stick to the accused. On replying that they do not own them, police insisted to buy the same from market and submit to police. My relative did the same. Now after a year when the case is opened in the court, the police hide the original bills submitted by the accused. Now the accused have only one copy of the bill of iron rod purchased. What can be done? The accused do not have any other proofs.

Try to find out how the police has made up your case, how they have shown the recovery of iron rods from the accused peron. Then decide whether to disclose the copy of bill or not. Consult a good counsel

In Investigation report ,it is simply written that the police has recovered rod. When, where and how was not mentioned. Further it isbwritten that there were ni any blood spot on it.Further the accused attended police station after 10:30,and iron rod along with wooden stick were purchased by accused on insist of police at around 11:30 to 12:30, while in Panchnama for recovery of iron rod, timing is 8:30 to 9:00.Accused were presented on the same day before court on the same day and bail was granted. Please guide.
