Harrassment by recovery agents

Hello, I have been getting calls from loan recovery agents/collection centers. Some defaulter put my cell phone number against his loan application. Loan agents insist they will not remove my mobile number and I should pay the amount. I get calls everyday. They are rude sometimes, and one has threatened police action. What do I do in this case? All articles on the web talk about rights of a loan defaulter but not the rights of ordinary citizen being harrassed by such agents. Should I file a police complaint of my own? I don't have anything except phone numbers. No physical communication... Or is there a law/act that I can quote to these agents instructing them to stop calling me. This is way worse than telemarketing. :-(

Just file a police compiant ,provide them the cell numbers they will amange the details..

Issue a legal notice to the Chairman of lender company, and preserve all call records. Change the sim and number in your own interest if there is a possibility.
