Hi,
Recently my father expired and before he had constructed house in my native with his retirement money.
How to find the existing owner of the property? All the property taxes and water bills are paid till date by my father and I am continuing it after his death. But on the property tax bill, the name was displayed of my father's grand father's brother.
How to register this property to my name?

Find the original sale deed.
Obtain death certificate.
Obtain the mutation record and link documents from revenue office/officer ( e.g Patwari).
Confirm on whose name the property is registered?
