Firstly i want to thank you all for giving us an opportunity to post. This website and the replies are very high standard and i want to thank the advocates for giving us their precious time.
I have a query and I am getting conflicting answers when i go to meet the advocate outside the nearest court. plz advice what is the correct process.
i brought a house in 2004 with me as first name and my father as second name. i am paying EMI and no body else have paid for the house. my father expired in 2008 without leaving a will . we consists of my mother, my elder sister, and two elder brothers ( all stay out of pune except for my mother who stays with me at Pune in the said house) .
i want to remove my father’s name from the house property. What is the correct way to do that? some ppl are saying that it is not possible. some are saying talk to the housing society.
I want to protect the interest of my family and my other members will be ok to remove my fathers name from the said property.
plz advice the correct way to remove my father’s name from the house.
