I think it would possible from KURUKSHETRA UNIVERSITY, KURUKSHETRA N MAHARISHI DAYANAND UNIVERSITY, ROHTAK.

MR. PULLAIAH,

As per my knowledge there is no university which offers a full-fledged 3-yr LLB through Distance/Correspondence. However, the following law courses can be done through correspondence:



Annamalai University, Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalinagar 608002. Courses: Bachelor of Academic Laws (3yrs) and Bachelor of General Laws (2yrs).



University Of Jammu, Directorate of Distance Education, New Campus, Jammu 180006. Course: LLB (Academic) (2yrs).



Kakatitya University, School of Distance Learning & Continuing Education, Warangal 506009. Course: Bachelor of General Laws (2yrs).



University Of Kashmir, Deptt. of Distance Education, Hazratbal Srinagar 190006. Course: LLB (Academic) (2yrs).



Madurai Kamraj University, Directorate of Distance Education, Palkalainagar, Madurai 625021. Course: Bachelor of General Laws (2yrs).



Further, due to statutory requirements, thise LLB courses is not recognised by the Bar Council of India and you will not be able to practice in a court of law after doing these course through Correspondence.

As per my knowledge Bar Council does not recognize  any distance education in LL.B.


Now LL.B.  is practicle course for which classes and courts are to be attained.

Kurkshetra university does not provide any correspondance course in LL.B.


though few univs. provide LL.B in distance education programme but all these courses are academic in nature and are of 2 yrs duration and does not entitle the certificate holder to practice as a lawyer in any court of law.

 The  Bar Council of India to my knowledge,  so far not  allowed students to be enrolled as Advocates, unless he or she complete the LL.B degree  course as a regular law  student  of a recognised institution  and not as a student of distant  education.
