Sir,

       Can a joint property be mortgaged by one of the joint owners without the concern of the other joint owners?

A. No, without obtaining consent of the co joint owner you cannot mortgage the property because of joint owner has a right 50% share over the property.

B. NOC from the joint owner is mandatory while execution of the mortgage.
