It is better to file the suit for injunction by both the co-owners, because only one co-owner files the suit defendant can take the advantage of this.

a suit against a stranger can be filed.  For which you can add another co-sharer as one of plaintiff or defendant as a formal party

If the cause of action arises, one co-sharer can maintain a suit for permanent injunction against a stranger / tresspasser without impleading other co-sharers.
