Neighbor construction on a land not theirs

sir. my grandfather bought  a,piece of land with house from landlord. the parts were mentioned in a sheet  (parcha ) along with the neighbouring plots. But while selling in the main property paper and distribution among his sons one part was not mentioned any where. Now in that part the neighbour is constucting house extensions ( which we clearly klnow is not theirs as we know which part and how much they own by the papers). can we do anything about it. The landlord already died wayback so its difficult to settle from him. Neighbour is constracting house extension and also roof extensions close to our walls. what can be do about this? Sir, is there a way we can object as we know that land is not theirs. infact is ours as the landowner sold all his property to us.!!

please help me in this regard and suggest way out. thanks.

apply for encumbrance certificate of your land. so that you will know the owner of the property.

Get the property card from local authority to know the ownership of plot.

Inform authourity about such construction so that they will take any wuitable action against it.
