Not receiving the income tax refund

I AM AN ASSTT. TEACHER IN SHETH H. M. SARVAJANIK HIGH SCHOOL, SOJA (TA. KALOL). MY PAN NO IS AGLPT1329E. I HAD ALREADY PAID THE INCOME TAX OF THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2012-13 ON 10th JULY 2013. I AM ABLE TO GET THE REFUND OF Rs. 4000 THAT TIME. BUT TILL NOW, I HAVEN'T RECEIVED THE SAME REFUND. MY SALARY BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER OF AXIS BANK IS 448010100040460. PLEASE CHECK THE STATUS AND HELP/GUIDE ME FOR GETTING THE REFUND.

Hi Rakesh,

In your own interest, please remove your PAN and AXIS Bank Account number.

Contact the Assessing officer in the Income tax Office.

Mr. Querist, do not be so innocent which will be dangerous for your own self. Disclosing the PAN and bank account numbers in public portals like this would prove danger and risk to you. Instead write to your regional income tax office seeking the status by furnishing the details what you have given above.

You should approach to a local Tax Advocate with the same information he will assist you in the best way.

there could be many reasons for not getting your refund paid whereas if you will get the refund you will also get interest on that amount so you need not to worry
