Dear Members, there was a notification from the Supreme Court in Sep 2010 regarding the parking charges which the developers/promoters/builders charge to the Flat buyers, citing this is part of common usable area and not part of Flat or living area and should not be charged for.
I have taken up an apartment in upcoming sector with Builder in Gurgaon and I wanted to check if I need to pay for the parking charges if the developers ask for it? while completing the application form, I remember there was a charge of parking at INR 250000 for covered parking.
need your assistance to know if this should be payable if asked for or it can be disputed and charges be revoked.
